Boilermaker

What are you going to do?

• Fabricating and assembling metal structures such as boilers, tanks, silos, pressure vessels, and industrial containers according to technical drawings.
• Cutting, shaping, and forming metal sheets, plates, and pipes using tools like plasma cutters, grinders, and press brakes.
• Welding and joining metal components using techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding, depending on the material and specifications.
• Inspecting and testing work to ensure compliance with safety standards, pressure requirements, and engineering specifications.
• Repairing and maintaining existing structures and equipment, including corrosion treatment and strengthening weak points.

Where are you going to work?

Our client is a mid-sized engineering company with around 50 employees, specializing in industrial fabrication and maintenance. We work on a variety of projects, from large storage tanks and pressure vessels to custom steel structures for clients across Europe. Their team values practical skills, collaboration, and a friendly work atmosphere. We know relocating can be a big step, so we make sure new team members feel supported from day one.

What are you taking with you?

• A Red Seal certification in Boilermaker
• Previous experience as a boilermaker is appreciated
• Under 30 years of age
• Good communication skills in Afrikaans and English, and a willingness to learn Dutch
